Personal profile

In 1977, as the first group of lucky children who were admitted to Chengdu University of science and Technology (now Sichuan University) after the cultural revolution, they began to enter the palace of science, studied and studied natural polymer materials in the Department of polymer materials, and graduated with a master's degree in 1984. After graduation, he was engaged in technology research and development in the factory, but found that "if you want to do good work, you must first sharpen your tools". So in 1986, he went back to the University (Chongqing University) to arm himself and engage in fine chemical teaching and research. Later, he adapted to the development trend of life science, studied in Chongqing University in 1993, engaged in tissue engineering research, and obtained a doctor's degree in 1996. In 1998, he was a senior visiting scholar in the Department of Applied Biophysics, Aachen University of technology, Germany. After that, it formed its own main research and development fields

1. Biomaterials: we have been engaged in the research and development of natural protein materials, poly (lactic acid) biodegradable polymer materials and their biological composite nanomaterials for a long time. At present, we pay special attention to the preparation technology and characteristics of new nanoporous metamaterials (metamaterials, a kind of special functional materials with negative physical parameters).

2. Biological macromolecular function and bioinformatics: it is committed to the establishment of new bioinformatics algorithms and new rules and mechanisms for DNA / RNA protein interaction network, structural protein network and regulatory protein and enzyme network, so as to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of life phenomena and avoid biased life cognition.

3. Mechanobiology: it involves the mechanical regulation mechanism of epigenetics. At present, it mainly focuses on the changes of DNA and histone methylation patterns caused by mechanical action, so as to study the mechanism and rules in the process of regulating DNA expression, discover new growth factors, and pay attention to the role of mechanics as information and the exploration of new rules of life activities.

4. Bionics: Based on the principle of bionics, we can bionically manufacture new bone tissue repair scaffold materials with good biocompatibility, design and manufacture new functional biomedical materials with new growth factors and inherent laws of biocompatibility, and devote ourselves to clinical research and technology development.

5. Biological fermentation engineering: use the abundant cellulose resources in nature, change the production mode of starch (grain), carry out the new production process and new technology of fermented lactic acid, and apply lactic acid in the research and development of preparation and synthesis technology of new modified polylactic acid functional materials, especially pay attention to the bioengineering exploration of plant waste utilization.

6. Biopharmaceutical Engineering: new growth factors pay special attention to the expression and preparation of force growth factors. At present, they are committed to the exploration and technology development of new anti-cancer strategies and methods, trying to form a new idea of new medical diagnosis and treatment.

In a word, my research and exploration mainly focus on the foundation and technology of mechanical medicine.
